Matured for 15 months in 4 year old French oak. Dense inky black heart with a dark purple hue. Pronounced dark plum and liquorice aromas mix with some blackberry, blueberry, vanillin cedar and spice notes. Medium to full in body, succulent blackberry and liquorice fruits carry an opulent feel over blueberry, vanillin cedar, delicate earth and pepper characters. Velvety yet traditionally sturdy Clare Valley tannins concluding long, juicy and peppery.
