Other Reviews....
Central Highlands and Ranges of Victoria. Magnificent country. Pinot noir, from Doug’s and Ray’s plots.
It’s a beauty. Bright and fresh, succulent, really fine boned, gossamer textured, sour cherry, floral, pretty-savoury spices too. Has this really lovely, faint minerally edge too. Tannins chime in from mid palate and the wine firms up beautifully. Fantastic expression, so delightful.

Notes from producer....
A fantastic entry point to my 2021 Pinot Noir’s, comprised of two thirds Doug’s Vineyard and one third Ray-Monde Vineyard. Aged only in used piece, incredibly fresh with red berry and cherry, rose and violet, there is a fantastic concentration in 2021 which will see this cuvee mature into the medium term, while also offering seductive drinking now.
Vintage conditions saw a late season producing fresh wines of remarkable intensity, depth and balance. It is a very special year and one that will age extremely well. These earlier release wines provide and exciting glimpse at the quality to expect come the single vineyard release in July.
