2021 Josef Chromy Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. A fragrant mix of dark cherry, plum and anise scents are complimented by toasty cedar, earth, fresh herb and spice notes. Carrying a fleshy textural feel, the light to mid weighted palate is well endowed with dark cherry, plum and strawberry fruits. Spicy anise, toasty oak, forest floor and dried herb elements lie underneath. Polished tannins. Good power wave with a lengthy dark fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

A bright cherry hue with aromas of black cherry, plum, exotic spice, licorice, berry turnover and ample stalky nuance. Textured and mouth-filling with powerful yet graceful deep-spiced cherry and plum fruits with hints of earth and game. Almost burgundian in its demeanour, with a gentle tug of fine tannin lending support and structure and a finish flush with pure fruit, spice and earth. Drink by 2028.
