Medium to full bodied with sweet black fruit flavours melding into a spicy raisin and cinnamon back drop.

Dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. Sweet black plum, liquorice and raisin scents mix with vanillin spice and cinnamon notes. On the medium to full bodied palate sweet black plum, morello cherry and liquorice flavours meld into a spicy raisin and cinnamon back drop. Polished tannins with raisin and cinnamon laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

The fruit is pure, the perfumes clear, the mouthfeel soft. There’s an integrity to this wine but, at heart, it’s a crowd-pleaser. It tastes of boysenberry and earth, sweet jubey berries in general and something woody, like sandalwood. It’s a wine of grain and groove and silk. It’s most enjoyable. Drink 2024-2031.
