2021 Hentley Farm The Stray Grenache Shiraz

Includes a small amount of Zinfandel with maturation taking place in seasoned oak for 9 months. Very deep black dark purple colour with a vibrant dark purple hue. Delightful red to dark raspberry, violet and liquorice scents sail out of the glass followed by subtle vanillin cedar, fresh herb and pepper notes. Succulent dark raspberry, ripe dark cherry and liquorice fruits are layered across the moreish mid weighted palate. Infusions of fresh herbs, subtle earth and spicy vanillin cedar encroach their way onto the back half. Velvety tannins finishing fresh, juicy and long.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
