2021 Hahndorf Hill Reserve Gruner Veltliner

Brilliant pale straw colour with a very distinct glimmer of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced pear, lime and red apple aromas mix with spicy quince like notes and flint. Powerful ripe pear, lime and green to red apple fruits flood the mouth. Lurking in the background are elements of spicy quince, slate and flinty minerals. Very concentrated and fleshy in texture with brisk acidity and a long intensely flavoured finish that borders on being opulent.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
