2021 Gibson Discovery Road Shiraz Monte

A delicious blend of Shiraz and Montepulciano matured in French and American oak puncheons for a period of 18 months. Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated morello and black cherry scents intermix with liquorice, dark plum, scorched earth, dried herbs and vanillin spice. Rich, juicy and lush the palate is awash with morello to black cherry, liquorice and plum fruit. Fennel, cinnamon spice and subtle scorched earth elements linger underneath. Polished tannins with a long ripe finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
