2021 Fetherston Magnolia Albarino
Six days on skins with wild fermentation, aged on lees in neutral French barriques and puncheons for 4 months. Bright pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear, subtle lime and dried honey are expelled from the glass followed by some spicy clove like notes. Light and dry the palate has flavours of pear, dried apple and quince with a spicy finish. Brisk acidity and a delicate, spicy aftertaste.
