2021 Famille Paquet Macon-Davaye Les Pres Cousins - CRACKED WAX

Located in the heart of Burgundy, Famille Paquet is a 30 hectare property at the foot of the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson. The Paquets take great care of their vineyards, using organic and biodynamic compost and manage each of their 50 plots individually. The property is currently in conversion to organic viticulture.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced peach, pear and honeysuckle aromas mix with hints of crème brulee, citrusy nougat and wet stone notes. The fresh mid weighted palate features white peach and pear fruits over a delicate dried honey, citrusy nougat and wet stone back drop. Energised acidity with a long, elegant and vivid finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
