Barrel fermented and aged on lees in French oak barriques for 11 months. Bright straw colour with a glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Pronounced nectarine and grapefruit aromas intermingle with citrus, roasted almond and gun flint notes. Rich ripe nectarine and grapefruit flavours are married to an underbelly of roasted almonds, dried honey, lemon butter and infusions of a gun flint like minerality. Fleshy textured it finishes dry and fresh with lively acidity and an energetic aftertaste layered with dried honey and roasted almond characters.
