2021 Edenflo Twin Peaks Grenache
Fruit was sourced from Eden Valley and Clare Valley. Superb depth of colour displaying an inky black heart along with a deep dark red black hue. Spicy dark raspberry, plum and red liquorice scents are trailed by fresh herb and subtle peppered earth notes. Rich succulent dark raspberry, fresh plum juice and liquorice flavours flood the mouth. Vibrant acidity lends a zingy feel with notions of earth and spicy fresh herbs lying underneath. Polished yet solidly built tannins with a bright juicy dark fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Other Reviews….
Well, I’m hoping it tastes like a slice of cherry pie. It’s 70% Springton (Eden Valley) and 30% Armagh (Clare Valley). In terms of style, this comes over a bit like Gramenon.
Deep, dark red fruits, a whole lot of exotic spice and peat-like earthy stuff. It’s juicy, fleshy and supple, sweet dark fruit, dried herbs and sage, with a distinct amaro tang. Toasted almond and orange peel, a slight warmth through it, but wonderful sooty tannin and savoury/spicy elements lift it above the ruck. Finish is gently bitter, but long and firm. Very different style of Grenache, and very good too. Drink 2021-2025+
