2021 De Bortoli The Estate Vineyard Gamay Noir

Semi translucent dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. A fragrant mix of red and sour cherries, violets and smoky clove greets the nostrils with some earthy stalk like notes also present. Spicy red and sour cherry fruits are both juicy and savoury with notions of clove, earth and dried herbs lying underneath. Fine grained tannins with a fresh elegant finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
