2021 DCB Wine Pinot Noir
Semi translucent slightly cloudy red colour with a light red hue. Perfumed like aromatics of violets, red cherries and strawberries meld into forest floor, fresh herb and spicy cedar notes. Light in body and possessing a vibrant feel, elegant red cherry and winter strawberry flavours decorate the palate underscored by subtle forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Polished tannins. Finishes very fresh with crunchy like acidity and a bright aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
A blend of fruit from Woori Yallock in the upper Yarra and Kangaroo Ground. Destemmed but keeping as many whole berries as possible. Matured in a combination of barriques and puncheons (15% new). A light bright crimson. With its aromas of cherries and brown spice, this bright, light-to medium-bodied and savoury wine flows nicely across the palate. Fine, powdery tannins round out wine that will provide both value and enjoyment in the short–medium term. Drink by 2026.
