2021 Dandelion Vineyards Menagerie of the Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mataro

A highly appealing Grenache based blend sourced from three adjoining blocks in the Gomersal district of the Barossa. Maturation takes place in old French oak barriques for a period of 12 months.
Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced spicy dark raspberry, red liquorice and plum aromas fill the nostrils with some fragrant fresh herb, light scorched earth and pepper notes also evident. Rich juicy dark raspberry, plum and red liquorice fruits cast a plush textural feel across the medium to full bodied palate. Spicy dried herb, vanillin cedar and pepper characters linger in the background. Finishes fresh with velvety tannins and a long sumptuous aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
