2021 Dandelion Vineyards Lioness of McLaren Vale Shiraz - DAMAGED LABEL

Matured in some new by predominantly older French and American oak barriques for 18 months. Magnificent colour saturation featuring an inky black heart along with a very deep black dark red hue. Jumping out of the glass are blackpepper infused aromas of blackberry and liquorice followed by some graphite and smoked meat notes. Rich, plush and youthfully energetic the generously weighted palate is swamped with luscious, freshly crushed blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits. Robust tannin structure with notions of spicy vanillin cedar, subtle earthy graphite and blackpepper characters lingering through the back half. Finishes fresh, long and juicy.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
