2021 Dalwhinnie Mesa Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Aromas of nectarine and pear are intermeshed with hints of lime, green apple and subtle biscuity oak. Rich fleshy peach, ripe nectarine and subtle dried honey flavours are delivered with good intensity over a back drop of cashew and light spicy nougat elements. There’s a nicely balanced freshness to the finish which concludes long and amply fruited with a cream tinged texture.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
