Superb colour saturation featuring an impenetrable inky black heart with an equally deep black dark red hue. Fragrant freshly crushed blackcurrant aromas combine with cedary tobacco, mulberry and bay leaf. Medium bodied the palate sees red to black currant and mulberry fruits overlaying cedary tobacco characters, faint bay leaf and spice. Youthful acidity and slightly chalky tannins lead into an inky aftertaste.
