Fruit was sourced from the Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a red hue. Ripe red currant aromas are intermeshed with notions of fresh herbs, dusty earth and spice. The savoury mid weighted palate features generous red currant and red cherry fruits over dried herbs and earthy tobacco characters. Spicy finish with bright acidity. Slightly chalky tannins lend some grip to the lengthy aftertaste which has a rustic feel.
