Review Summary: Typically bold Barossa Cabernet with a ripe sturdy structure.
The Detailed review: Matured for 26 months in 1 year old French oak hogsheads. Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice are followed by toasty vanillin cedar, subtle tobacco and scorched earth. Rich and lush, the full bodied palate is awash with opulent blackcurrant, black cherry and liquorice fruit. Vanillin oak, scorched earth and spice elements ensue. Ripe sturdy tannin structure with a long conclusion lavishly endowed with fruit.
