Aged in American oak hogsheads for 12 months. Dense midnight black core with a bright red black tinged hue. Pronounced morello cherry and liquorice scents sail out of the glass with some dark plum, vanillin cedar and spice notes also evident. Rich fleshy morello cherry, dark plum and liquorice fruits overlay a vanillin oak and spicy dark chocolate back drop. Ripe chewy tannin structure finishing fresh and juicy with a sturdy feel.
