Aged in French oak hogsheads for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and dark cherries intermingle with liquorice, vanillin cedar, tobacco and spice. Luscious morello cherry and blackcurrant fruits are framed by a firm tannin structure with prominent toasty vanillin oak and spicy tobacco characters lying underneath. Concludes ripe and robust with a mid length finish.
