Planted in the early 1970's Bream Creek is amongst the earliest commercial vineyards planted in Tasmania. Fruit was initially sold to Moorilla Estate up until 1990 when the vineyard was purchased by Fred Peacock who established the Bream Creek brand and then went about increasing the plantings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Fred also introduced Sauvignon Blanc and planted the first commercial block of Schönburger in the Southern Hemisphere.

Sleek, powerful & fresh this is an exceptional example of cool climate Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a vibrant crimson purple hue. Gorgeously scented, violet, ripe red cherry and water strawberry aromatics sail out of the glass trailed by hints of anise, fresh herbs and delicate spicy cedar notes. Showing fantastic power and depth are delicious ripe red cherry and strawberry fruits which are complimented by a touch of anise. Notions of forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar lie underneath. Supple mouthfeel with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a long, expansive peacocks tail like finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
