Dense inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Ripe blackcurrant and mint aromas sail out of the glass followed by hints of liquorice, cedary tobacco and bay leaf notes. Rich plush blackcurrant and red liquorice fruits swamp the palate with some cedary tobacco, subtle black olive and bay leaf characters underneath. Fine grained yet sturdy tannin structure. Concludes long, juicy and spicy.
