2020 Zilzie Regional Collection Barossa Shiraz

Midnight black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aniseed and toasty vanillin oak aromas are followed by some black cherry and peppered earth notes. Rich and fleshy the palate is overwhelmed with a strong toasty vanillin oak component. Aniseed, black cherry and peppered earth elements are largely obscured. Velvet smooth tannins with a toasty vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
