2020 Willems-Willems Saar Riesling Trocken Schiefer Oberemmel

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated lime and red apple scents rise out of the glass trailed by mandarin, faint honeysuckle and flinty mineral notes. Light and racy across the palate with flavours of lime, lemon, red apple and infusions of orange blossom overlaying subtle notions of wet slate and mineral. Finishes dry with zingy acidity and an elegant aftertaste.
