Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aniseed aromas are intermeshed with black cherry, toasty oak and peppered earth notes. Super rich and boasting a thick liqueur like textural feel, luscious black cherry and aniseed flavours recede into a charry oak, scorched earth and pepper back drop. Velvety mid palate feel finishing with some heat, rustic tannins imparting grip to the charry oak and pepper laden aftertaste.
