Fruit was sourced from McLaren Vale and Clare Valley. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant dark raspberry, red plum and liquorice scents meld effortlessly into dried herb, light scorched earth and pepper notes. Succulent red to dark raspberry, liquorice and red plum fruits flood the mouth with traces of spicy vanillin cedar, earth and peppered herbs lying underneath. Superb richness and power with a lively freshness complimented by a polished tannin structure. Long juicy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
The first bottle I tried seemed a little flat, so I asked for another. DIAM cork is not without its problems, not least that they are hard to get back into the bottle.
Brown spices, hazelnuts, red and black fruits, a little mint and orange peel. Medium-bodied, distinct amaro flavour here, poached strawberry and spice, firm nut skin tannin, juicy orange, and a blood plum and chalky tannin finish of excellent length. Bold feel to tannin here, which is something of a highlight. A bit out of the mainstream, in a good way. Drink 2021-2027.
