2020 Singlefile Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

A blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 14% Petit Verdot matured in French oak, 30% new, for a period of 13 months.
Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Ripe red to black currant and mulberry scents mix with cedary tobacco characters, earthy black olive and bay leaf. Mid weighted the palate is quite open and fleshy, possessing a spread of red to black currant and mulberry fruits which meld into cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish finish with a very fine grained tannin structure and savoury medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
