2020 Shady Lane Heathcote Shiraz

Midnight black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Lavish aniseed, black cherry and blackberry aromas fill the nostrils followed by vanillin oak, bacon fat and peppered scorched earth notes. Rich, full bodied and opulently textured, the palate has a prominent toasty vanillin oak back drop with scorched earth and blackpepper elements also chiming in. Velvet smooth tannins with a generous, weighty aftertaste that sees lush black fruits strongly influenced by toasty vanillin oak.
