2020 Settimo Podre Merlot

Deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Lifted stewed plum and spicy tobacco like aromas are followed by earth, vanillin cedar and cinnamon. Soft and fleshy the palate sports dark plum and dried cherry fruits over a spicy cedar and earthy cinnamon back drop. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and a modest aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
