Includes 10% whole bunch with 79% of the blend matured in French oak puncheons and hogsheads with balance in tank. Impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Elevated blackberry and liquorice aromas have a distinct smoky cedar and blackpepper overlay with some earthy dried meat notes also evident. Fleshy spiced dark plum and liquorice fruits carry medium to full body weight with some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper characters in the background. Velvet smooth tannins with a medium to long conclusion.
