2020 Saint Clair Pioneer Block Foundation Block 1 Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. A pungent mix of passionfruit, gooseberry and grapefruit aromas leap out of the glass followed by some grassy asparagus and herbaceous lime notes. The brisk, intensely flavoured palate is filled with passionfruit, gooseberry and grapefruit. Lime, herbaceous grassy elements and subtle slatey mineral characters come through on the back half. Dry crisp finish with a long refreshing aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
