Pitch black in colour with a deep dark red hue. A few swirls of the glass reveals black plum, morello cherry, liquorice and Christmas cake scents followed by vanillin oak and cinnamon spice. Rich and plump the palate is layered with luscious black plum jam, liquorice and black cherry fruits which overlay a back drop of toasty vanillin oak and subtle spicy raisin characters. Ripe chewy tannin structure with a long spicy aftertaste.
