2020 Run Free by Singlefile Chardonnay

Fermented in French 225 litre barriques using a mix of natural (wild) yeast and cultured yeasts which gave rise to the development of complex flavours and textural weight. The wine also underwent weekly lees stirring post fermentation.
Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Ripe peach and honeycomb scents jump out of the glass mixing with some crème brulee, nougat and spice along the way. Rich, mouthfilling flavours of peach, honeycomb and crème brulee overlay a subtle bacon fat and spice back drop. Round creamy like feel with a long rich, textured finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
