2020 Rosily Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

From certified organic 26 year old vines with maturation taking place in new French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted blackcurrant and ripe mulberry aromas overlaid with vanillin cedar are followed by tobacco, black olive, dried herb and spice notes. The medium to full bodied palate is flush with rich red to black currant and mulberry fruits which carry ample flesh. Vanillin cedar, tobacco, bay leaf and spicy black olive characters sit underneath. A sturdy tannin structure lends some grip to the generous yet slightly bitter finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
