2020 Rob Dolan White Label Pinot Noir

Semi translucent red colour with a light red to brick red hue. Escaping from the glass are fragrant scents of spicy cherry, rhubarb and wild strawberry which are interwoven with forest floor, dried herbs and stemmy cedar like notes. Silky textured flavours of red to dark cherries, strawberries and rhubarb decorate the expansive palate. Notions of dried herbs, forest floor, subtle stalk and spicy cedar add complexity. Velvet smooth tannins concluding long, supple and savory.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

100% MV6 clone from a blend of 2 vineyards in the Upper Yarra, 90% whole berries and 10% whole bunches. A nice, bright crimson red signalling a vibrant wine with aromas of fresh raspberries, some spice from the whole bunches and a gentle lick of well-handled oak. Equally fresh on the palate, this silky textured and refreshing wine finishes with long chalky tannins. Drink by 2025.
