2020 Rippon Mature Vine Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lime, red apple, pear and orange blossom aromas intermingle with hints of honeysuckle and flinty mineral notes. Racy lime and orange rind flavours greet the front half of the palate. Red apple skin, subtle honeysuckle and stony mineral elements are spread across the back palate. Finishes dry with crisp acidity lending tension. The aftertaste long and energised.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

Lime zest, lemon blossom, white peach, flint and white pepper on the nose. Medium-bodied with sharp, bracing acidity. So vibrant and compact with a mineral backbone. Really minerally, tart and dry on the finish. Better from 2023.
