2020 Rinomata Cantina Tombacco Aglianico del Beneventano

Produced from Aglianico grapes with aging taking place in a mix of steel vats and 500 litre tonneau barrels.
Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Bright red cherry and red currant scents meld into a mix of earth, fresh herbs and spice. Medium bodied, there’s an underlying freshness to the dark currant and dark cherry fruit. Some red liquorice, earthy vanilla, infusions of fresh herbs and tobacco also chime in. Lively acidity and nicely formed tannins lead into a long savoury red to dark fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
