2020 Red Claw Pinot Noir

Yabby Lake’s second label, Red Claw, regularly delivers great value across the range. The 2020 vintage saw even ripening conditions delivering wines with great intensity and depth of flavour. Produced with the inclusion of 25% whole bunch fruit the wine was matured in French oak puncheons for 10 months.

Rich and silky with a long expansive finish.

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet tinged red cherry and strawberry scents blossom  from the glass followed by forest floor, subtle dried herb and spicy cedar notes. Rich and supplely textured, delicious ripe cherry and strawberry fruits flood the mouth underscored by notions of forest floor, light dried herbs and spicy cedar. Superb power wave with silky smooth tannins, good freshness and a long expansive finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
