Semi translucent red to dark red core with black toned edges and a light red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of dark cherries and rhubarb which are complexed by subtle smoked meat, forest floor, dried herb and spice notes. Delicious red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits are layered across the palate with a supple feel. Lying underneath are forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar elements. Perfectly integrated velvet smooth tannins concluding long and savoury.

Other Reviews…..
Matured 10 months in oak barrels. Floral, precise and fine boned, this is an intricately crafted pinot noir built for the cellar. A core of elegant, accurate red cherry fruits are lifted by subtle rose-petal perfume and spicy allure, presumably of a touch of whole-bunch inclusion. Firm, confident, fine-ground tannins are accentuated by bright, cool-season acidity, together promising grand endurance. Drink by 2040.
