2020 Pizzini Rosetta Sangiovese Nebbiolo Rose

Pizzini’s Rosetta is a tribute to their Matriarch, Rosetta, who loved her garden. It is produced from selected Sangiovese vineyards that are noted for producing soft, delicate and fruity styles of wine, and Nebbiolo picked from areas of the vineyard producing fruit with delicate floral characters.

Translucent damask pink colour with a watery hue. Fragrant scents of raspberry, strawberry and faint musk fill the nostrils followed by some lightly spiced blood orange and wet stone notes. Delicious blood orange, peach and strawberry fruits cast a supple feel across the mouth underscored by subtle pomegranate and stony characters. Finishes dry and spicy with brisk acidity and a long refreshing aftertaste.
