Magnificent colour, inky black dark purple at its heart with an equally deep very dark purple hue. The still very youthful nose tosses up aromas of freshly crushed blackberries and dark cherries followed by liquorice, vanillin cedar, earth and fresh herbs. Rich blackberry, liquorice and dark cherry fruits are underpinned by crunchy like acidity and firm chalky tannins. Spicy vanillin cedar, earth and infusions of fresh herbs are also present. Finishes slightly edgy and grippy with a mid length aftertaste.
