Brilliant  very pale straw almost water like coloured core with greenish tinged edges. The nose exudes aromas of ripe pear, green apple and honeysuckle followed by some faint musk and mineral notes. Intense pear, green apple and lime fruits have a rounded river stone like mouthfeel with traces of honeysuckle and stony mineral characters lying underneath. Finishes dry with crisp, bristling acidity and a long lip smacking aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13%

Other Reviews….
Hand-picked fruit, 100% whole-bunch pressed. Fermented in French oak barriques, on lees for 5 months. 2020 was a glorious vintage in Margaret River and has yielded wines of both power and poise. 'Effortlessness' is a word I am using over and over again for this vintage. This is that, with green apples, nashi pear, summer apricots, lanolin and cheesecloth, and fine, lemon pith acid. The Pierro nuts are in there too (all the Pierro whites have a creamy, nutty character; it makes them what they are). A beautiful wine. Totally graceful. Drink by 2036.
