2020 Pedestal Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak for 12 months. Dense black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Leaping from the glass are aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive followed by some distinct cedary tobacco notes and hints of spicy capsicum. The mid weighted palate is awash with rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which are delivered with terrific intensity. Infusions of dried herbs, dusty cedar, black olive and spicy tobacco characters also chime in. Excellent volume and depth with fine grained tannins and a long refined aftertaste that has a lingering spicy tobacco character to it.
