2020 Murray Street Artisan Shiraz

A blend of 92% Shiraz and 8% Mataro matured in French oak (27% new) for a period of 12 months. Midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Sailing out of the glass are ripe dark plum and liquorice aromas which intermingle with some dried clove, black olive and pepper notes along the way. Full, rich and plush the palate is layered with lush spicy dark plum, blueberry and liquorice fruits. Toasty vanillin oak and peppered earth elements lie underneath. Polished tannin structure with a peppery medium to long conclusion that shows ample flesh.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
