2020 Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Old Pump Shed Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Perfumed like scents of violets, red cherries and winter strawberries evolve from the glass followed by subtle fresh herb, forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Light in body, savoury red cherry and winter strawberry fruits are scattered across the palate with an undercurrent of fresh herbs and delicate spicy cedar. Bright finish with polished tannins and a mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Matured 10 months in French oak (25% new). Huge drink-me appeal to this wine. Hits the spot time and again, with its ripe summer-pudding strawberry, cherry fruits, musk and baking spices with redcurrant bite. Sour-cherry fruits, lingering and light, together with taut tannins help define the palate. Sets the tastebuds alight. Drink by 2026.
