2020 Mount Riley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Jumping out of the glass are expressive dark cherry, anise and toasty cedar aromas with some forest floor and spicy stalk notes also present. Light in body the palate has a youthful freshly crushed cherry and anise flavour profile with toasty oak, earthy graphite like characters and spice lying underneath. Slightly dryish tannin structure with lively acidity and a spicy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
