2020 Morambro Creek Chardonnay

Matured for 9 months in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels. Bright pale straw to straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Fresh ripe peach and pear aromas intermix with hints of lemon butter, light dried honey and toast. Rich peach and ripe pear fruits have a subtle honeycomb overlay. Elements of lemon butter, toast and spice making up the back half. Gently creamy mid palate finishing with lots of fresh acidity and a focused medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
