2020 Massena The Twilight Path Primitivo

Very deep midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Showing plenty of intensity out of the glass are aromas of spicy morello cherry, liquorice and black plum which are trailed by vanilla, scorched earth and blackpepper notes. Medium to full in body the palate is layered with rich black cherry, dark raspberry and liquorice fruits which overlay vanillin spice. Fresh acidity and slightly chewy tannins concluding with medium length.
