2020 Mac Forbes Yarra Valley Chardonnay

Matured for 10 months in old oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peach and nectarine are followed by citrus and faint notions of gun flint. Vibrant flavours of citrus and nectarine are underpinned by lively acidity which gives the wine a crunchy feel. Delicate pear and infusions of gun flint are also present. Finishes dry, elegant and focused with a touch of minerality shining through.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
